Jason: Thanks for your concern.....But seriously Mel, you need to get used to the idea of mom taking care of you. This is my last year of high school.

Melanie: Dont'cha worry, I allready have a plan for this Jason!

Jason: Eh......

Melanie:I'll go to college with you!!!

Jason: Mel, that's not how things work. You have to finish high school.

Melanie: Pfft, I can drop out!!

Jason: You're too young to drop out..You have to be sixteen...

Yeah, so you guys (everyone but of course) are probably confused at least a bit.

Well a loooooooooonnnnnnngggg time ago (okay so only a year or so....) Hannah-chan, our buddy Caitlin, and I made the most random comic called The Mocha. Why is it called the Mocha? Well at the time we had no idea. But now it was probably named that because that was one addictive comic. People in our school were fans, people at church, etc. It was sorta scary because after I killed off a certain Raven-haired light bender I was called killer at school for a week.....No seriously.....I was....There were badges.....

Anyways the story had to do with a thirteen year old girl Melanie and seventeen year old girl Rina who both witnessed a strange explosion and a rather strange alien in the center of their town. It's VERY complicated (including pysco mommies, flambouant kings with their own armies, ghost flames, and purple haired hotties that can turn into kitties :3)

Well this is the early design of Melanie. Yep, those things are her hair. She had two HUGE bangs while the back was extremely short. The guy is her older brother Jason, before all the bad stuff started happening to him.

I was looking through our second volume (out or four or five I think) and I came across a cute panel with the brother and sister. Jason is worried about having to leave his sister when college comes but Melanie has her own plan!

Awww thirteen year old logic is great....

Redrawing this pic shows me something too.....I SUCKED at drawing last year....No really....I did XD In the last few months I have improved so much, It scares me to even look at volume one of the Mocha, or even The Jelly (don't ask...It's another comic we did).
